ES U.I.L.

Academic UIL

Students in grades 2–3 at Hamshire-Fannett Elementary have the opportunity to participate in University Interscholastic League (UIL) academic competitions. Through these events, students are encouraged to develop their knowledge, creativity, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities while representing Hamshire-Fannett Elementary.

Elementary UIL events include:

  • Storytelling

  • Oral Reading

  • Spelling

  • Music Memory

  • Mathematics

  • Chess

  • Ready Writing

  • Creative Writing

Participation in Academic UIL provides students with opportunities to challenge themselves, showcase their talents, and develop skills that support success both in and out of the classroom.
